Crazy Hair!

I woke up from a nap and look what happened! Is that hair gel?

Teeth, Self Feeding, and Cruising

Big things going on.... I just got my first two teeth! The two front bottom came in at the same time. Mommy will post a photo soon.

I also like to feed myself cereal snacks, avocado, and carrots. Check me out chowing down!

I figured out how to pull myself up and now the coffee table is where I like to spend most of my time hanging out and cruising.

Big Chill Trip

In late February we went on a Ski trip at Deep Creek Lake, MD with some of Mommy and Daddy's friends. I had a little playmate Gus there too. We played under the coffee table, got lots of attention, bath time fun, and "Uncle" Jimmy even taught us how to play a mean game of flip cup. Can't wait till the next trip!

Road trips make me sleepy...

Swings!

Today Mommy walked me down to the beach to play on the playground. It was a whopping 47 degrees today, the first mild day since the blizzard. Mommy bundled me up in my fleece jumper, hat, and suede boots (slipped off while swinging).

I swung in the infant swing set for the first time! I'm still a bit small for the seat but I loved the sensation of flying which made me giggle. We can't wait till spring when the weather get warmer and we can play in the sand and go swimming.

While we were there we saw a Blue Heron soaking up some sunshine!

First Christmas

Toys, Toys, and More Toys!

My first Christmas was super special. Uncle Cameron and doggy Dixie arrived from Charleston, SC on Christmas Eve to visit for a few days. I got to stay up past bedtime and giggle while the two doggies (Dixie and Bailey) ran circles around the house.

On Christmas morning the tree was lit up and there were beautiful wrapped gifts placed beneath. Daddy made a nice warm crackling fire and Uncle Cam helped Mommy prepare a big breakfast while we awaited for Grandpa Wehner, Opa Groen, and Grandma Groen to arrive.

After breakfast we opened gifts. Well, I helped unwrap the first gift and then Mommy opened the rest. I got blocks, rolling ducks, Elmo-In-The-Box, musical blocks activity center, musical jungle play center, Dr. Seuss books, pajamas, and a dress.

Later in the afternoon, we went to visit Uncle Curtis and Aunt Sarah at their new home for Christmas dinner. I sat up next to their Christmas tree and played with the new teething toys they gave me. Boy! I sure was spoiled with all the gifts and attention given to me.
